lyrics
Run for it
Here come the Grim Reap
Done for
When you hear the green creep
One more
Send a threat to the sheep
You gon’ have to kill me
You gon’ have to killllllll me
And you don’t wanna do dat’
Rise from the dead, like surprise yellin’ who dat’
Get mashed up actin’ tough, bein’ cruel
Wolves eat wolves, thought for your food
Through the lock, what angle
See the door locked, chain swing jangle
6 girls baracated, drugged from the mango
So I went Django start whoopin’ ass like what’s up
(Fight scene)
Oh that’s what we doin’ now
Let me push up
Soon as I make my rounds
Start to look up
Whose the next victim
Let em’ know I sent them
Saw red, skint him
Run for it
Here come the Grim Reap
Done for
When you hear the green creep
One more
Send a threat to the sheep
You gon’ have to kill me
You gon’ have to killllllll me
And you don’t wanna do dat’
Rise from the dead, like surprise yellin’ who dat’
Get mashed up actin’ tough, bein’ cruel
Wolves eat wolves, thought for your food
WHAT IF THAT WOLF
(Oh he just a sheep)
Pull the plug
(Oh he just a sheep)
What if that Wolf pulled the plug on you?

Alvvays has always been great, but with this album they took it to the next level. Every one of these songs is lodged in my brain now, permanently (in a good way). s. moxley

Takes me back to my high school classroom during the days of binging Inio Asano's old manga scanlations before anything was licensed. At that time, I was discovering many kinds of Asian shoegaze, but I've never heard anything like this. Makes me think of Pasteboard, Supecar, and Midnight Pingpong a bit, and it's funny bc the first two I listen have blue album covers too. Lu
Twinkling, glitched-out ambience punctuated by bubbling beats: think Stereolab's foundation if they were less European and more Californian. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 6, 2016
