lyrics
Lost but I know
-How to find
My own way back home
Passed a friend who cried
Running through alone
Trying to past the time
I don’t know
But I think, it sounded like
(muffin years in lydian)
ooo ooo ooo
ooo ooo ooo
(Death comes on everyone)
ooo ooo ooo
(My life has just begun, begun)
Steel chains
ON MY NECK
I live
With no regret
Spirit
Forever
That makes
It better
My heart
THE GLORY
Found peace
My story
Hold tight
My nut sack
If I die
I’ll be back
Lost but I know
-How to find
my own way back home
Passed a friend who cried
Running through alone
Trying to past the time
I don’t know
But I think, it sounded like
(muffin years in lydian)
ooo ooo ooo
ooo ooo ooo
ooo ooo ooo
ooooooooooooooo
ooooooooooooooo
Steel chains
ON MY NECK
I live
With no regret
Spirit
Forever
That makes
It better
My heart
THE GLORY
Found peace
My story
Hold tight
My nut sack
If I die
I’ll be back

Alvvays has always been great, but with this album they took it to the next level. Every one of these songs is lodged in my brain now, permanently (in a good way). s. moxley

Takes me back to my high school classroom during the days of binging Inio Asano's old manga scanlations before anything was licensed. At that time, I was discovering many kinds of Asian shoegaze, but I've never heard anything like this. Makes me think of Pasteboard, Supecar, and Midnight Pingpong a bit, and it's funny bc the first two I listen have blue album covers too. Lu
Twinkling, glitched-out ambience punctuated by bubbling beats: think Stereolab's foundation if they were less European and more Californian. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 6, 2016
